    SIO remove pads on the board

    hi everyone i got a laptop which was the sio chip removed maybe the other technician remove this but the problem is 3pads have remove on the board is there a way i can connect again the chip?please help

        you can connect it,i see only one missing pad,it is 6th pin from the end(pin nr.123).You must look in schematic,maybe is not conected and under the pin was only free pad. Other pins carefully straighten with some pike tool and solder it back..fine solder tip,good flux and microscope-10minutes of work

            look in schematic for this board..if you dont have it,post the motherboard number

                I see some pins are connected together. Do not plug power/battery into the laptop to avoid damaging the SIO.

                  i dont have schematic for this board but this one pin can be also not connected-not in use..separate the pins and solder it back to the board..leave the one unconected,i dont see any trace going to this pin

                    some pins looks like bend (or bent ) . check with good magnifier if they are isolated or touch other pins before give power. if so, better put a new one and use a bit of extra solder 60-37 without extra flux on the missing pad.
