Some virus are resistant to these methods and the only way to fix the tablet is reflashing the whole firmware because the virus gains root permissions and it remains installed even if you make a factory reset, crappy android!!!.

      cpt.charlie You're right!

I spend two hours try to go into safemode I couldn't. I make living on repair computer both soft and hardwares. The Windows ransom viruses they are worst, they encrypt files and backup for you, are no way to 100% removed and recovered only way to do is factory recovery. A factory reset is the fastest way, instead of spent hours and days chasing the ransom doggy. one CON is you lost all your Datas. So.. Do BackUp or pay Ransom.

PS: Easiest way to backup is USB HDD or SD..... copy important files to there............ that's all.................

You must have a sad, sad boring life if you hate on people harmlessly enjoying life with an animal costume.

Sometimes you need to break shit to fix it.... Thats why my lawnmower doesn't have a deadman switch or engine brake anymore

JVC LT-43C888 (manufactured by Vestel) does not start after trying factory reset, details below
            by masterm
TV: JVC LT-43C888 (purchased in 2018). This is a smart TV with Netflix, Youtube, Freeview and other applications via 'Viewd' app store

            Problem with TV:
            - Netflix stopped working so i tried to do factory reset from the TV menu.
            - I confirmed on-screen but the factory reset did not happen even. It did not take me to 'first-time installation' screen as mentioned in the manual.
            - After waiting for some time, the TV went into a boot loop.
            - JVC logo comes on the screen and LED light flashes for some seconds, then it reboots again and the same thing happens

Hisense 55Q9G Android reset / factory firmware reload
            by mon2
Hello. Have a 55" Hisense TV that starts to load the Android OS (no backlight issues) -> reaches the app screen where you can view the assorted icons including Netflix and always crashes at the same point just after this launch. If I quickly press the cursor buttons, the cursor can navigate to the settings menu but will power off just after a few seconds of this activity. Do not believe it is power related since the crash is very accurate in the boot cycle.

After the OS 'crashes', the power does go off and the from white LED goes dark for about 20 seconds and then ON again....

            Unbricking Vigor AP
            by madan1
            Good day.

I'm posting this to help other people.

If you have a Vigor AP with some kind of a software issue or just with an unknown admin password and disabled reset button, here is how you can flash a fresh firmware.

Download the firmware from the vigor's website and extract it somewhere.
Download TFTPD64 or other tftp client with file push.
Connect to the unit with an ethernet cable and set your client IP address to 192.168.1.10 (just not .1 or .2).
Start TFTPD64, go to tftp client tab. Select the server interface with the above IP and...

Reset/erase Hynix SC210 to factory default
            by pfrcom
Some Googling made this seem straightforward, but it ain't necessarily so:

First try was Hynix Drive Manager, supposed to be able to do PSID reset

In Win7 x86 context, what shoddy software – this greeted me first time I clicked it from Start menu:

After wild goose chase triggered by the OpenGL bit, I tried swapping graphics cards until penny dropped when it still objected to a Radeon HD3450

            How I got it work:

            1. Command prompt
            2. Change to install directory \Program Files\SK Hynix Drive Manager
            3....

Chinese multimedia crashes on the home screen, could someone help with the software or factory reset?
            by LEONARDO DE FREITAS
Hello everyone, I have 2 multimedia systems with a 9-inch screen that turns on and only stays on the Android screen. It is very likely a software update. I have 2 software programs here but the multimedia system does not start the installation. Has anyone encountered this problem? I would be grateful if you could help.
