At this time, I finally have the latest firmware for this 55Q9G and also the 65" version of this model. Can this firmware be applied using a USB key to correct the parameters? Even though this TV with the 65" firmware has auto-updated to the latest - can we apply the 55" firmware? TBH - does the USB firmware tool even know the difference of the firmware packages? I think not as long as the pkg file is properly CRC'd.Comment

Thank you for the FW mon2. When I turn the TV on, it gets to the home screen, but after about 10 seconds the TV turns off. It's not enough time for me to start the FW install off the USB stick. I read that if you hold the power button on the remote when turning the TV on with the USB stick plugged in, it will auto install the FW. All I got was the "checking" window like it was checking the FW prior to install. When that completes the TV turns off and goes no further. Any thoughts on what could be happening? I'm stuck....Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

by mastermTV: JVC LT-43C888 (purchased in 2018). This is a smart TV with Netflix, Youtube, Freeview and other applications via 'Viewd' app store
Problem with TV:
- Netflix stopped working so i tried to do factory reset from the TV menu.
- I confirmed on-screen but the factory reset did not happen even. It did not take me to 'first-time installation' screen as mentioned in the manual.
- After waiting for some time, the TV went into a boot loop.
- JVC logo comes on the screen and LED light flashes for some seconds, then it reboots again and the same thing happens

Hey there people
While working on my Acer Aspire with the OS failing to load, I encountered a motherboard number of DA0ZHQMB6E 0 REV: E. I was getting nowhere fast or slow, for that matter.
This is what I tried, but not in any order.

BIOS
Command Prompt (administrator privileges)

On Google AND YouTube, I was getting mixed messages, try this and try that, but when you cross reference the advice it is either the wrong model (even though you enter the correct search term) a YouTube case in point, with the search term "how to...-

by neilc6I repaired the backlights on this model (symptom flash of backlights, repaired seven bad, part#3P55TA004-A2 new strips available at Shopjimmy) and now the TV is stuck on the home screen. I can only turn the TV on with the remote and no buttons work once booted on the home screen. Only the TV buttons volume -/+ and on/off work. There is no physical menu or input buttons.
I think a factory reset will clear it but not a lot of options. Tried the Sony Android methods of holding down the on/off button while plugging it it and holding down vol- with power on/off.... -
by pfrcomSome Googling made this seem straightforward, but it ain't necessarily so:
First try was Hynix Drive Manager, supposed to be able to do PSID reset
In Win7 x86 context, what shoddy software – this greeted me first time I clicked it from Start menu:
After wild goose chase triggered by the OpenGL bit, I tried swapping graphics cards until penny dropped when it still objected to a Radeon HD3450
How I got it work:
1. Command prompt
2. Change to install directory \Program Files\SK Hynix Drive Manager

by AJ847.63eHi all,
I've got a A1708 which we decided to sell off as we no longer use it. We factory reset the device to wipe all data which went fine but when trying to reinstall macOS it fails with the generic “ MacOS “Installation Failed, An Error Occurred While Installing”. I've tried the usual solutions like the first aid utility apple recommends and also disc utility delete the partitions but still get the same error. Digging into the logs you can see it's giving an error 478 but unfortunately wasn't able to get much info on that on google so I'm unsure where to go from here.... - Loading...
