I got a acer v3 - 571 with no display . ram was so hot . I changed it for new
ram work fine but within one hour .new ram also be unusable and no display
    occurs.ram voltage shows 1.5v.

    Thanks..

there is 2 types of ddr3 ram... DDR3 and DDR3L

make sure you have a right one, cos thay run on different voltages
    Im Back... sort of...

First have you had this unit for some time or did you receive it in this condition? If you received it this way do you have any schematics to it? Perhaps it may have a wrong resister value in it that is causing more current to go to the Ram? If you have had this computer for some time and it failed then I would suspect a bad component causing an over current condition to ram until the circuit protection cuts it off. Could also have a bad electrolytic? It is hard to tell with out taking measurements and without having a schematic to go by. Even it someone had the same condition their condition could be caused by something else.

Thanks for reply as per my knowledge ddr3-1.5v and ddr3l compatible for 1.5v or 1.35v .I have 1.5v in ram slot .

I received in this condition but I changed the ram module and work for one hour
later that ram module also be unusable .I have the schematic and will attach it.if you have a previous experience please tell me how to start.

I have some experience I am not an expert.Seeing how no one else is stepping up I will help you with what I know. Can you verify that both of the Ram boards are bad and not one. This will help in pointing in a direction to go. It seems that there is a 1k ohm voltage divider that is use to set up the reference voltage of 1.5 volts. So that input needs to be O.75 volts to output the 1.5 voltages. This is just a quick look at it. The first thing is to verify that both Ram boards are bad or are you using only one Ram Board?

Here is the data sheet to the 204 pin DDR3 Ram chip. This should help you understand what the pins do. I would be concern with the voltage pins as there are terminating voltage etc. that you also need to look at. So Study this data sheet and see what you can decipher. If you still need help after that then let me know and I can look into it further.

                        Hi,

I would suggest you also check termination voltage ie 0.75 going to the RAM.'

                        Page 49: ON RT8207 check pin 20 (+0.75VSP)
                        Page 49: ON RT8207 check pin 4
ON RAM Slot pin 199 should not be more than +3.3V

                        Hope this was helpful.

Thanks everybody this was not able to fix and bit of risky to do much
experiment due to the lap is in working condition .return back to the customer .Thanks everybody.

Those are the usual common faults that many fall in always , Putting a Ram with an incompatible bus speed to the system . DDR3 Comes with lot of different buses like 8500 , 10200 and 12600 . Disrespecting those rates might cause lot of trouble when placed in an incompatible system .
Some Mobos have stronger abilities to detect incompatipibility while cheaper designs do not .

Welcome friend . Let me tell you this little trick i always use . I put on the net search "upgrade laptop rams" , and it will take you to many seller rams sites giving exactly the specifications of a Laptop ram . Fast and effective .

8500, 10200 and 12600 etc are not bus speeds these are the peak transfer rate in MB/s.
