I have to start with pu2001 and this is a 10 pin ic for vs but g38a has 20 pin ic .this schematic gives me an idea but difficult to preform well....

I got same laptop with same problem yesterday. I looked with a magnifier for broken ceramic capacitor, Finally i found a cap on PL32 line +VCCSA area. I replaced it and the laptop working now.https://Did you solved this problem ... I replaced it
