iPad mini wifi, +5V rail to ground resistance

    Hello,
i changing iPad mini connector, all pads are OK, but the +5V power pads have infinity resistance against GND. Is that normall?
    Thanks for help.

I expect it to show something.
I check my Ipad3 USB end:
Red probe on +5, Black on GND = to around 2.5M Ohms.
Black probe on +5, Red on GND = to around 100K Ohms.

someone posted ipad schematics in the last week or 2 here - i remember it.
      a thread about a damaged 8pin port.

Yes the same guy, i took this ipad which is serviced before me very roughly. I think it's not only destroyed connector.

            Thanks, i have it simillar.
            First measuring was probably uncorrect
I finally soldered connector and it works, charging, starting.
            Thank you very much

Lowest possible resistance on laptop motherboard rail - Guide Table request
                by Nagy Daniel
Hi, I'm Daniel, and I'm new to the world of repairing motherboards.

I would like to create a table, or more likely a guideline about the voltage rails and their possible resistance rail.

I know that the motherboard design has a very big depend on the rail's resistance, but I would like to know what is the smallest value for a rail that can be acceptable. For example, I heard that some new gaming motherboards can have 0,5 Ohm resistance on the GPU rail, but on an older type, it could be a sign of a shorted GPU rail.

So, I generated a table with AI so I can...

I tried searching the forum for whether this has been uploaded already, but couldn't find them (as a collection).
Here's a dump of a bunch of iPads, I've split into 2 archives to get under file limit

645 G9 with Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U | Resistance to ground of CPU?
                by loopster
                Hello everyone, I have a 645 G9 here with a Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U.
This board has a blown inductor component above the driver chip to the CPU coil, and I am wondering whether the CPU is shorted/dead.

Could anyone please measure the resistance to ground on the leftmost coil/inductor to the CPU?
My resistance value is 2.2 Ohms, which doesn't look good to me.

Thanks to everyone willing to give a value.
