iPad mini wifi, +5V rail to ground resistance

    iPad mini wifi, +5V rail to ground resistance

    Hello,
    i changing iPad mini connector, all pads are OK, but the +5V power pads have infinity resistance against GND. Is that normall?

    I expect it to show something.
    I check my Ipad3 USB end:
    Red probe on +5, Black on GND = to around 2.5M Ohms.
    Black probe on +5, Red on GND = to around 100K Ohms.

      someone posted ipad schematics in the last week or 2 here - i remember it.
      a thread about a damaged 8pin port.

          Yes the same guy, i took this ipad which is serviced before me very roughly. I think it's not only destroyed connector.

            Thanks, i have it simillar.
            First measuring was probably uncorrect
            I finally soldered connector and it works, charging, starting.
