Good day guys. Could you please help me identify this mosfet? All I have are these markings, A2719 M 001. I've search the net and it points me to a NEC PA2719GR. I don't know if this is the same. I attached picture and datasheet of NEC mosfet. Thanks everybody!

Re: Identifying this component
Thanks guys. Yes its the same. So I just need to find replacement parts here. By the way, laptop problem has no power. 19v from charger to dc jack. but on the other end of the pin which is connected to motherboard, voltage measured 1.8-2.1v fluctuating. Which must be 19v too. I found out this mosfet is heating up. Other side of mosfet is good I think. Thanks againComment

Re: Identifying this component
I thought some p-channel mosfets have special characteristics. I have doubts replacing component when I don't have the schematic for laptop motherboard. This one is a Fujitsu fmv-biblo loox g/m2. I will this and see if it works ok. Thanks man.Comment

by JaneI tried to use this method:
Testing an N-channel MOSFET:
Step 1: Discharge the Gate (turn off the MOSFET)
Place the black probe (COM) on the Source (S) and the red probe on the Drain (D). The multimeter should show no continuity (high resistance or "OL" – open line).
Then, touch the black probe to the Source (S) and the red probe to the Gate (G). This discharges any stored charge in the Gate, turning the MOSFET off.
Step 2: Charge the Gate (turn on the MOSFET)
Now, place the red probe on the Gate (G) and the black probe on the...09-27-2024, 03:31 AM -
by madjid911HI, I discovered a mosfet in continuity, and grounded the motherboard. I would like to replace it to be able to repair the motherboard of my asus pc. I am not a big expert, can you tell me what is this mosfet?I can't find it on the internet.
Can you help me find the datasheet and maybe tell me which mosfet I can replace? I have macbook a1466 1708 1278 donor motherboards.

by boardbreadHello! I have these MOSFETs used on a desktop motherboard, the name of the motherboard will not be helpful, because it is quite rare and doesn't have schematics. They are used in a power rail and have very unusual metallic package, I've never seen anything like this. Could you help me identifying these, or at least identify their package?1 Photo

by kingis85Here i have asus rog flow, super powerfull and expensive tablet. The problem is that it only works with a battery. The owner had it plugged on and his dog wanted to put his teeth on the usb-c plug and well.....
So after that it is not charging with a new asus official charger. I opened and tried to find something burned with microscope but everything looks good. I did not found any short. I did see that it does not try to take any power with usb meter, so the 5v line must be open somewhere. This board is really hard to make any sense because i can not find any kind of data sheet or info....11-20-2023, 05:50 AM -
by NooyHello everyone, I recently found this badcaps site and super Learn Electronics Repair youtube channel. And I wanted to learn how to troubleshoot power supplies and VGA cards and how to practice soldering, since I already have a properly defective piece of them. I am currently trying to solve two problems:
I have a Gigabyte GV-RX460WF2OC-4GD type card. I managed to find the faulty MOSfet (AON6414A) on it, which I replaced. The card starts up, but after about half a minute, the MOSfet in the same position will be shorted again. Is it possible that the PWM controller driving the MOSfet... - Loading...
