Thank you, I will try this and report back if it works.... -
Good day, I apologize for some missing information. Serial number is 0FFY91DG500101H. As for the backup file, I cannot extract the file because the main issue of this laptop was a shorted bios chip. Pin 8 of the chip reads only 5 Ohms. When I connect adapter, bios chip heat signature rises to 80c. When I remove bios chip, resistance reading goes to kilo Ohms. I already have the replacement chip. Looking around the net, I can't seem to find an available file. Can't download on the manufacturers website because it seems Samsung shutdown the laptop division. Thanks....Leave a comment:

Dell LA-G892P Schematic needed
Hi. Does anybody have schematic for this dell laptop motherboard, LA-G892P Rev. 1.0? I see some post regarding LA-G891P but there's a lot of components missing and there is another winbond chip labeled UT2 close to UT6. Thanks -
Update on this card. 5v is now present, I found out that the brand new ic's that I used was fake (bought 10 pieces online that came from China) I acquired another 10 pieces from different store and it worked. Unfortunately after replacing the ic again, pwm controller is heating up. I guess I'm stuck here because I know this pwm controller NCP81022 is programmable and I had no idea how to do it. Searched the net and found nothing relevant to this procedure.Leave a comment:

You can check the temp of both pwm and driver ic during startup (after pressing power button) You need to know if pwm controller goes more than 45c. If it does you need to check around pwm. Or you can check how much current is drawn. I had a board with this issue, after pressing power button pwm soars up to 82c causing it to shutdown right after logo. This is just based on my experience.Leave a comment:

I had almost the same issue like you but on a different card, a 6600xt. I tested all coils and ended up on vddm. I took the risk and injected voltage on the coil. Found out both memory and gpu core is heating up all at the same time. I did not proceed further as I know most of the time it is the core.Leave a comment:

The resistance of the output pins are 9.09 mega ohms.
Another update. Pin20 (BOOT) of U501 has 4.66v. On R624 pin2 is 11.99v but pin1 has 2.7v going to pin6 (TON) of U501. I tried to read the information about this TON pin but I don't fully understand. Based on the site, I should also check the feedback circuitry and found 0v there. Thanks for the reply....Leave a comment:

MSI RX 5700XT 5v missing
Hello guys I need a little help here. I'm trying to fix this graphics card regarding it's 5v missing. The card came to me with a shorted buck converter GS9230 (U501) with zero output. I replaced the IC with a new exact same model and the short is gone, but still no output. I checked surrounding components and there seems to be nothing else is at fault as to my knowledge.. I removed coil (L500) to isolate furthermore.
Thinking that the new buck converter could be defective, I decided to replace it again with a new one but same result. This buck converter is a standalone IC which outputs... -
