    Macbook Pro A1278 wont power up
    - when i press power button , power led light about 1 second and off.
    - no sound , no image, the fan spining few seconds
    any help ?

    i have one with same exact syntom. reballed chipset and smc and reprogrammed bios: same result.

      try Re Flash bios

      try also bios chip track ..

        angel boy can u post pin bios voltage ?

        on mine i have only the 3.3 voltage at pin 1-3-8 so i thing my nvidia chipset is dead...

                in my macbook there is a p8600 that get very hot as a cpu normally, so it could be possible.

                  this week end il get the board with reballed cpu. we'll see if it was right that problem was cpu :p

                    macbook with cpu reballed..... still power on and fan spin for 1 -2 seonds then power off.... so it's not a cpu problem...
