Are these transistors interchangeable?

Im trying to fix a no power Lenovo edge 520 laptop. There are two power switching transistors 4835D, out of which one seems to be out of function. No reading by the multimeter when tested with ground. I have a spare board that has the 4407 transistors on it, and I was wondering if I could change the 4835D with the 4407?

The picture isn't really helpful for IDing parts. If you can use higher resolution, better focus and no flash and specify exactly what it is and what you want us to see.

The 1st link doesn't show any specs for a 5835, the second doesn't either. I can't find any specs matching 5835 to any MOSFET P-channel that the 4407 is. The closest I see there is a NTMS5835NL, which is an N-chanel MOSFET and is NOT interchangeable with the 4407.

Both model you mentioned are p channel MOSFET. So it will work.

May I ask how you deduce that? I'm not challenging, just want to learn myself.

Edit: Even worse, I'm starting to mix up numbers in my head now. Getting older really sucks in some ways.

A better choice would be a 2SA1124

get the data sheet through Digi-key and compare.

ft is higher but the rest is very similar
