    R1583 each side = 0V

    PPDCIN_AONSW to ground = 5V
    My USB-Port Tester is connected between Board and Power-Adpater shows just 5V Input

      Each CD3217 features LDO rails. The active PD controller (mated to the USB-C port under use) will have all LDO rails enabled. Confirm the voltage of each PD controllers. Each must be working else you will not have 20v.

        I only have 5V at the USB-C input.

        I measured the outputs of the UF400/UF500
        PP3V3_S2_UPC = present
        PP3V3_UPC0_LDO = present
        PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE = present
        I believe that the UF400/UF500 are fine.

        5V on the LC320 = present
        3V3 on the LC710 = present
        On the F5200 I have 11,92V

        When I connect the battery, I have a current draw of 0.445A
        The display briefly shows the message that the battery is charging.
        However, I cannot switch the device on.
        Without battery I have a current consumption of 0.001A

          Remove all power. Disconnect the battery. Meter in resistance mode.

          Measure the resistance to ground on each pin on the battery connector (without the battery) @ J5150.

          Either color meter probe to ground (since this is a resistance check); other meter probe to pin #1. Repeat for each pin on the connector.

          We are testing to see if perhaps one or more of the TVS ESD diodes that protect the SMBUS (SCL / SDA) lines is blown from a transient event.

          Post each measurement.

              No shorts here.

              Attach the power adapter and carefully(!) measure the voltage to ground of:

              PP1V8_S2
              CHGR_AUX_DET (R5216)
              C5220 (each side)
              PPCHGR_VDDA
              PPCHGR_VDDP
              I2C_SMC_PWR_1V8_SDA
              I2C_SMC_PWR_1V8_SCL

              The above are to confirm the input conditions to the ISL9240HI.

                PP1V8_S2 = 1V8
                CHGR_AUX_DET (R5216) = 1V23
                C5220 (each side) Pin1 = 5V Pin2 = 5V
                PPCHGR_VDDA = 5V

                  Looks good to me.

                  Try a DFU:

                    where to get trusted CD3217. Problem with A2337 Macbook Air
                    by Adogabriel100
                    Hey! As the title says. i don't know if this is the right place to ask but i need to get trusted USB C Controllers (CD3217-CD3215) For macs and dont know where to get them. i dont know if you guys know where is a good place to get it.

                    The thing is that i have a Macbook air A2337 M1 and i dont have a donnor board to get the CD3217. So i try the CD3217 from a A2141 Board and at first, whitout his eprom it does not convert 5v to 20v. then i put the original CD3217 eprom from the A2141 and then the macbook A2337 conver the 5v to 20v but still not turning on. i guess that the CD3217 is...

                    Apple Macbook Air M1 A2337 Trackpad problem
                    by Skrndelj
                    Hello all,

                    I am repairing a Macbook A2337 and i have a problem
                    The Macbook is stuck in restore as someone before me tried a DFU restore and bricked the device, now i can't do a restore as AC2 throws error 1 which is related to the trackpad.
                    When i turn on the device i get the trackpad click for a few moments and then nothing, i tried 7 trackpads and 7 trackpad flats, i know all 7 are functioning okay, especially one as i use it for testing and DFU restore.
                    I inspected the whole board and everything seems fine.
                    Can anyone help me as i didn't fiddle with trackpad...

                    Hey,
                    I'm working on a MacBook Air M1. I'm pretty sure the U8100 is not working correctly. But I never had to change it before, so I wanna ask anyone of you guys to confirm (or not confirm) my thoughts on it.

                    USB Tester: 5V / 0,00A
                    PPBUS_AON: 12,3 V
                    PP5v_S2: 0 V no short
                    PP3v3_S2_UPC: 0 V no short
                    PP1v25_S2: 0 V no short
                    PPDCIN_AON_CHGR_R: 5 V
                    no enable signals for the S2 rails by the U8100

                    both CR3217 (UF400, UF500), are supplied by 5V (Fuses FF200 and FF201)
                    PP3v3_UPC0_LDO: 0 V, 0,5V diode mode to gnd

                    Hello, a friend give me this M1 Mac Air, he said that it simply stop working. Apple preventive is replacing motherboard.

                    Model is MacBook Air M1 A2337, logic 820-02016, not booting, and taking 5V 0.42A and consuming 2.173W.

                    Once disassembled is very clean, no water damage at all. Visual ispection reveal no visible problem. Flir camera point to two hot point:

                    C81DC PP3V8_AON_VDDMAIN
                    And
                    Q5800

                    What should I test as next step?

                    Thank you very much!

                    Hello! I need help, the MacBook could not boot and rebooted! After examination, I found that the small sound board with a 3.5 mm jack was oxidized! I replaced it and the MacBook no longer boots. Consumption with a battery 20v / 0.000A, without a battery 5v / 0.120-0.470A (not stable). The MacBook is not in DFU!
