    MACBOOK A2337 NO POWER

Hello, I'm trying to repair my MacBook Air A2337 820-0216-A, which does not start. It's stuck on 5V, the motherboard is not drawing power, and there's no liquid damage or shorts found.

Since I had PPBUS_AON but not PP1V8_AON, I replaced the U710 PMIC chip with one from a working donor motherboard (iCloud). The result is the same. Here are the measurement :

    3V8_AON : 3V8
    PPBUS_AON : 12V28
    PP3V3_S2_UPC : 0V5
    PP3V3_S2 : 0V
    PP1V8_AON : 0V no short
    PP3V8_AON :3V8
    P3V8AON_PWR_EN_R : 5V
    the trackpad does not click

I can't tell if the PMIC is receiving the activation signal. Maybe the M1 SoC is dead?

Thanks for your help, I'm just a beginner.

Remove all power. Meter in resistance mode. Measure the resistance to ground of PP3V3_S2_UPC. Post the measurement.

This rail is not shorted but also not enabled.

Check if the PP1V2_S2 rail created by U8100 is present.

Your case may be similar to this one:

On Roussman's website it says to change U8100 but it's a big component that I wouldn't be able to replace.
