    Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 5 - Not Powering On - 3 Blinking Lights - 20 volts 0.224 amps

    Hello,

I have a Lenovo here that does not want to power on. The motherboard appears to be clean, no sign of corrosion or obvious fried components. When plugged in, I see 3 blinking lights and then off. It would cycle the 3 blinking lights every 10 seconds or so as long as I have the adapter plugged in. Amp meter shows 20 volts, 0.224 amps, no fan spin, red light indicator near the charge port.

Thermal camera shows a section of the motherboard that is warmer than the rest. It is near the connector labels JRTC1 (CMOS battery). Diode measurement to ground for pin 1 = OL, pin 2 = 0.00. The resistor connected to pin 1 is 10K and OL on both sides. This area heats up whether or not the CMOS battery is connected or not.

Also, when I disconnect the battery and connect just the adapter, the same area does not warm up. I attached some pictures to show thermal camera while adapter is connected versus disconnected.

Just wondering if anyone has advice for me on what I should check next? I am in the process of searching for a schematic / board view so I can continue with the troubleshooting as well.

        Model number is NM-F311 KE611 / KE451 Rev 1.0

Amp meter without battery is the same: 0.224~

It appears that what's heating up is on the other side of the board is the BQ chip. BQ25710? Or it's BQ25730? It is hard to read. PU4000 about 60 celsius. This heats up when battery is connected, might be normal.

Sony XBR-75X950G seems dead with a black screen but backlight and sound is working and no blinking red lights
            by Audeze
I have a 2019 75" x950g, and while playing a movie, the screen suddenly went dark in a weird way, where it faded towards one corner into being fully black. Now the TV turns on, and the backlight comes on, but there is nothing displayed except black. Sound still comes through the TV speakers, and i have tried doing a hard reset using the volume - and power buttons while plugging the display back in, but it did not fix it. I can confirm that pressing buttons on my remote is still doing "something" because I'm hearing sound still, even though the screen is black.

Sharp 80” long short flash backlight error - Help
            by Superbee_dad
            Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

            > I checked voltages on the power supply board and they all check out .. including 3.28 volts at the error pin.
            > There is power to the cpu and T-CONN and no faults found there. The cpu has a flashing...

            Hi all,
this unit comes from a samsumg LCD TV LE32C530F1W which stopped working after making a strong noise like something was exploded inside of it.
I opened it and found that fuse FP801S was blown, capacitor CP814 was completely disintegrated and MOSFET QP801S was shorted.
I replaced all of them and instead of the fuse I connected a 100 Watt bulb. Then, without connecting it to other TV boards, I switched it on, but the bulb begun to blink.
I thought that maybe the bulb was somehow interfering with the normal operation of the power supply, so I replaced it with a fuse,...
