ASUS ROG G513R - works however bootlops

Hi everyone,

We're experiencing an issue with an ASUS ROG G513R laptop. It generally works perfectly fine, but occasionally, after being powered off for some time, it goes through multiple boot cycles (showing the ROG logo around 5 times) before booting normally. Once it starts up, everything runs without any problems.

We've also noticed that this issue sometimes occurs when the lid is closed. Troubleshooting Done So Far:


-Latest BIOS installed
-Fresh SSD & Windows installation
-Tested with two different RAM sticks in different slots – issue persists in all cases

I think this has something to do with the powering of the BIOS. Check the BIOS battery. Sometimes, the BIOS battery is inside the big battery.

It is inside the laptop battery however it shows 3V
