Anyone using DS1M12 oscilloscope for motherboard repair?

Hello all, does anyone use DSO for motherboard diagnostics? If so, would this be enough?

I spotted this article using a different DSO though.

For some problems it may be useful. I don't know. I expect it depends on what problem you are diagnosing and of course your skill level: A scope will be useless unless you know where to connect it and what you're looking for.

You may find that you used it more for other things than motherboards, but with "Analog Bandwidth 250KHz" that DS1M12 looks a bit on the low-end side...

This: http://www.circuitspecialists.com/hantek-dso-2250.html costs only slightly more and has much better specs, on paper at least.
