dv9000 not turning on /no leds

I there , received here a dv9000 that client mention computer not turning on , well is right for sure , when pressed the on off button we have the 3.3 source and drop to 0 volts and when release recome to 3.3 volts , main step controler also all good , 3.3 and 5 volts ok . battery charges but still not turning on , well i'm a bit stuck here , this has the old NB chip by intel , its a DA0AT7MB8E7 REV:E .
any tips will be welcomme .

What's the full model number and GPU? HP has had some serious issues with the graphics chip overheating and then not fully booting. I've seen them kick on but have no activity and some that will load the battery and sit dark like the way you're describing.

i just receive board , but board model is the one i posted above , gpu is a gf-go7600-h-n-b1

Hello,

Try to do a light reflow on that gpu. It gets defected quite a lot.
Hope that the problem is from the gpu.

Hi All!
Controll flat power & flat Multimedia, there are burned pins or change direction.
controll for short arround the power Botton, replace the power botton PCB with anather for try.

well this is strange , all seems to be a s3 state problem . changed SB since he could be the problem , since i didnt have some S3 voltages , bios was changed , KB was changed , gpuwas reballed , NB wwas changed . SO pratically all chips are new here .. Power board i have around 100 of does , try with some same result , changed flat , same result , even shorting the KB pin to ground to make the computer turn on , make the same result .... FUCk

have 3.3 and 5 no problem , but machine dont turn on ..

You ruled out pretty much everything else - could be the EC.

Well but EC was also changed , like i posted , KBC , bios ,NB and SB were changed , just gpu i reballed .

well removed another KBC from another machihne , its working , the kbs i changed previously was also from a spare board (bad luck was damaged)
fixed . took me a lot of hand work hours but ok ,, learning another thing , don't trust used stuff

There you go. I would've put my money on the EC/KBC from the start. I keep a lot of boards with removed video chips, but i always check if they still power on before removing any critical parts.

Same situation here with absolutely same components changed and still no power , Some help please ?

well got another one in that situation , indeed there were 2 , but one is solved .. now this one , cheked all seems fine .
its charging batery but simply not turning on .replaced cpu , the same . i removed GPU just in case some times this nvidia make this to happen , but even without gpu no light no nothing .
replaced KB , since i dont have pratically any S3 signals
but still the same issue after KBC replace , replaced SB as well , still the same
meanwhile i got 3.3 and 5 ok , and drop to 0 when pressed on .

glad to find the fuck#$%$ problem
in the end someone cleaned well this baord ... the bloddy white sockets were the flat cables turn on they were making contact insyde , they were green oxidated .. _!_ bloody sockets made me lost a tons of 4 hours.

HI !
I'd rather start from the scratch. First measure 19V on the mosfet if this is ok then measure 3,3V and 5V on the regulator chip without pressing a power button this voltages should be present always. If this is ok then measure 3,3 V on SIO chip pin marked as BAT reset should have 3.3V and when the power button is pressed the voltage on this pin is dropped almost to 0. After that also when the power button is pressed measure s5_on voltage should increase to 3,3V. If this is ok it means that SIO chip and the BIOS are ok. If not one of the components is failed.

I there , Markopolo , all this steps i know , but thk anyway for reminding (it will help outher for sure )
there was a conflict on the CN4 , indeed there is still a conflict , i must remove this connector and solder a new one , the pins are still making a bit of contact , when cleaning the contact computer works well , and turn on well . alltought im here with a doubt .

LID_EC should be 3.3 ? i got 1.89 volts is that a normal value ?
that is my only doubt .

hum , but the LID PCB " the on off PCB" is not attached , im turning it on buy the shunt pins between both sockets ,like i do usually for major toshibas and DV's series .
so since there is no on off pcb attached it shouldn't make this value be low .
my question is , wich is usually the value for LID_EC ?

LID_EC=3.3V
but in schematic is LID_EC# that mean active low signal so it must be 3.3V as correct value.
lid pcd is not the on/off pcb, it's a separate small pcb linked by to wire to the power pcb on the upper fixed in the cooler
