What are the details of your bench power supply? Can it support 100W?

of course I support 100w, I never had problems, I already repaired many A1707 machines with this power supply, I also have the original 87w apple power supply for the macbook and the defect is the same.

replaced U7000 for the third time with ISL9239C0, I read that it is compatible, nothing usual defect does not work with battery connected.😡

honestly this macbook is boring me, is there a way to turn it on without the battery? the customer is fine even without the battery.

with the original 87w power supply the low battery symbol appears and it does not turn on, can this be bypassed?

Maybe losing track of the many permutations but thought this laptop boots fine if the battery flex is not connected. So leave the battery disconnected.

Is your 87W power supply with captive or removable USB Type C cable? If removable, is the type C cable certified for 100W use? Such a cable will contain an e-marker IC inside of the cable connector ends. We typically use only 100W marked cables with our type C power adapters for the beefier macbook repairs.

Summary from assorted sites including this thread:

                    a) adapter - test with another 100W rated adapter
                    b) battery - test with another known good battery

solved it was the thin cable, put 100W cable and it starts without battery, thanks for the help.
