Where Can I Buy good Macbook Inductors/Coils? I have broken one :(

When I took it out it broke, and I want to get the same one or one of good quality.
Where can I buy it? On AliExpress they do not indicate the maximum amperages, and on Mouser or TME.EU it is impossible to search without having the exact reference.

    Inductor needed:
It is the PP5V_G3S Coil of an A2159, 820-01598 (L7670)
On the front it says: 1R5

    and in the schematic:

    1.5UH - 20% - 12.5A - 0.017Ohm
    PIMB062D-SM
    152S00268

Can someone tell me where to buy it?

    Thank you so much.

Still looking but you require a 7*7*2.4mm (height) inductor that can support 12.5A or more. Some good brands include Bourns and others. Even Cyntec is a good one to use here. So far, in this physical size, the peak current ratings are lower. This may be still ok since this power rail is not consuming such high currents but for a safety marging, higher the better.

I'm looking for online stores, preferably in Europe or Aliexpress, and at the moment I'm not having any luck.
      Here I have a list:
      https://www.digipart.com/part/PIMB062D-6R8MS
but they are very large wholesalers that I don't think they will sell me 5 or 10 units.
IF you find a better known equivalent, please tell me.

      Thanks for your time

Note that the original board demands a 1R5 = 1.5uH inductance. The digipart search is with a 6R8 = 6.8uH inductance (not the proper replacement).

        Found a suitable match:

        HCMA0703-1R5-R Coiltronics / Eaton | Mouser Canada

Worst case you can buy the same dead motherboard from Aliexpress, for a coil it should be ok (maybe expensive for just one coil, but components can be reused on other boards later)

Personally would suggest to just purchase the inductor. Otherwise, if you really want a donor board, you could probably source a more complete unit on Ebay and perhaps local to you. Look around for 'locked boards' or 'parts only' marked ads. Will check Aliexpress to see if there are options for this inductor. The linked board on Aliexpress is quite expensive.

                0630 = 7 * 7 mm inductor. Order 1.5uH.

But confirm the peak current of the inductor before placing the order.

Be careful with this, I have seen comments that the board has arrived EMPTY, without any components

I will buy the MOSER one, taking advantage of the fact that I buy things regularly.

                  A lot of Thanks! Really!

MacBook Air M1 (A2337 / 820-02016) dead - no power, DFU restore fails after iBSS send, good voltages - NAND dead?
                    by hiltsu
Hi everyone, first post here – long-time reader though. I have a dead MacBook Air M1 (2020) that won't charge or power on.

                    Device info:
                    MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
                    Model j313ap (A2337, logic board 820-02016)

                    Symptom:
No charging, no power on at all.

                    Restore attempts:
Apple Configurator finds the MacBook in DFU mode, as Linux with lsusb: Bus 001 Device 021: ID 05ac:1227 Apple, Inc. Mobile Device (DFU Mode).

It looks like the MacBookAir is in firmware boot loop. I have tried to restore 14.x version and 26.2 (latest) version firmware,...

                    Dear friends,
a close friend of mine gave me this machine, she told me that the last days the fan was going high and that it was heating up too much for the usual things, and that suddenly one morning it didn't start anymore .
I opened it and inspected carefully with a high magnifying lens, found no oxydized spots but a short on PPBUS_G3H , then a blown U6903.
                    I changed U6903 with a new one, PPBUS_G3H became 558 (measuring with red probe to gnd , and black on F7000) , PP3V3_G3H_RTC 463.
Now when I plug the usbc cable (original Apple 61W power supply), nothing starts automatically,...

                    Hi everyone!

I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.

I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...

I have a 2020 Macbook Pro A2289 and after many attempts managed to get it into DFU mode, using my older 2017 A1706 Macbook Pro (Running Ventura 13.7.8). However, when attempting 'Restore', it fails at step 4 of 4, showing the following error:
