I'm from Spain, 49 years old, and my first computer was an Amstrad CPC 6128... but I started studying computer science with a Commodore 64... one of those where pressing three keys would crash the computer, hehe.
At 17, I started as an apprentice in a sales and repair shop. At 24, I set up my own shop, and that's where I'm still at today.

Where Can I Buy good Macbook Inductors/Coils? I have broken one :(
When I took it out it broke, and I want to get the same one or one of good quality.
Where can I buy it? On AliExpress they do not indicate the maximum amperages, and on Mouser or TME.EU it is impossible to search without having the exact reference.

Can anyone help me locate the manufacturer of this IC? and tell me if the IC U20 is really the problem.
When looking at the board with the thermal camera, the integrated U20 is set to 90-95 degrees Celsius and the USB-C tester that I have between the charger and the laptop, oscillates between 5V and when it reaches 95º, it drops to 0.9V... .and so on in loop mode.

you fix the problem? I have 2 computers with the same failure. dv6 and dv7. Power on and power off in 2 seconds (black screen)
I saw in another thread that failure can be the switch, (component c1), I haven't the laptop here now, I'll look if my model have that component tomorrow.
