Also hoping for a schematic and board view for the A2442.

I have a water-damaged model that randomly shuts down every 20 seconds or so!
Have you found the issue? I might also have a very similar issue with A2338, the battery charging sign comes up then the Apple logo comes up for 2-3 sec and shuts back down. can't able to find the issue. I am getting good readings all over the board. A little help would be nice. Thanks!

What is the condition of the battery? What is the history of this unit?

Are you using the official or proper rated power adapter?

If available, test with another known good battery. You should be able to find them on Amazon and return it if not required.

What is the USB Type C meter readings for this board? 20V? Current draw?

What is the voltage to ground reading for:

    I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SCL
    I2C_SMC_PWR_3V3_SDA

A2338 MacBook Pro M1 Issue with DFU Restore or revive.
      by Stephen
Customer came in with a board issue, board looks clean, board turns on, he did a software update and he got the infamous Apple boot loop logo. He took it to Apple and Apple said he needed a new board. They attempted to DFU revive restore etc no luck. The board is stuck on the (!) point. I tried DFU myself and no luck. Nothing, board boots up goes into DFU computer turns on with Apple logo when applying the patch and nothing it gets stuck at halfway point and hangs on. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this particular issue. Board isn't liquid damage from what I can tell...

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
      by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

      Assuming...

MacBook Air A2337 (820-02016) USB-C Port Issue – Only Works in One Orientation (CC Line Problem?)
      by rounin
      Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.

      🛠 Original Issue
      The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

a2338 2020 Macbook Pro liquid damaged won't turn on- weird issue
      by bigbadbios
      Hi,
I am trying to fix this liquid damaged 2020 Macbook pro and I noticed something weird.
When I push on/around the renesas 501cr0b IC, which appears to be a clock generator/ multiplier, If I apply lot of pressure, the device will reach 19.9 volts and seems to be trying to work.
I have thoroughly reflowed that area and completely removed that chip (there was some liquid stain in that area) but no help. I have just 5v 0a unless I apply the pressure.
Your help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Three 820-01700 32GB Logic Boards Same Issue: Won't Wake From Hibernate
      by ugamazing
I have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!

We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre...
