maybe the heatsink does not touch proper .
    a reflow will not hurt.
    update the bios O.o maybe?
Just cook it! It's already broken.

maybe coolant gas has leaked from heatsink pipe, or lint carpet between fins and fan

if the fan kick up right away, need to reflow the cpu socket to the max. (melt the balls)

You can monitor the temperature using SPEECY, just google it or try to install gpu driver. If you manage to install the driver meaning the gpu chip is ok, but if the laptop shut down meaning the gpu is bad and need to be replace with a new one.
