    Asus motherboard DABKLGMB8D0 REV D

Hello. On the DABKLGMB8D0 motherboard, the mosfet aon6414al fires for me - on the board, the marking is PQ21. They fired it for me even after the exchange. Can anyone tell me why it does this?

remove PQ22 and PQ21 and check the ohmic value

Between 1,2,3 and ground it shows around 7ohm. Between 4 and ground it shows 50ohm.
      Between 5 and ground 113kohm.

It shows differently with each measurement, sometimes even a pure short between 4 and 1,2,3 contact...

When measuring, I had both PQ21 and PQ22 selected.

I can't find PQ20 on the board, I don't have all the diagrams. I've been sitting on this for 4 hours...

For the posted measurements above, are the mosfets @ PQ21 and PQ22 on the board or off the board? Post a pic of the board if you have it available.

Schematics and boardview files are available for this model.

The mosfets are off the board. Can you please send me the boardview? I will be very grateful to you.

Hi. I believe this mosfet, being a sot-23 package is tiny and is hidden underneath the connector @ CN19. I thought the boardview file is on this forum but yes, can post it. Let me confirm it is not a duplicate first.

Believe it is the same and also posted here:

                asus DABKLGMB8D0 - Badcaps

Can you confirm it? What I do not see is the schematic for this model which is also available but locked to my paid sub.

Are PQ21 and PQ22 on or off the board?

The posted measurements look very low which indicate a shorted component onboard. Be sure that all power is removed -> meter in resistance mode -> measure the resistance to ground of source (1-2-3); then gate (4) then drain (5-6-7-8) for each of these DCin mosfets. You should not have a low resistance to ground on either of these measurements.

PQ21 and PQ22 are off the PCB.

The measured values on the board are PQ21:
                  - the resistance to ground on 1,2,3 is now 7ohm
                  - the resistance to ground and Gate is infinite
                  - the resistance to ground and Drain is 113k

The measured values on the board are PQ22:
-resistance to ground on 1,2,3 is now 9ohm
                  - resistance to ground and Gate is infinite
                  - resistance to ground and Drain is infinite

It is possible that there is a short circuit on the board, because I am measuring different values...
