Inspiron 6000 no backlight

Hello Fellas

I need your value opinion on this.
I have a Dell Inspiron 6000 with backlight problem, I guess.

On this laptop I have a
LTN154X2-L02 Screen.

I replace the inverter(A-15B07001-64F-6084) "Suppose for inspiron 6000"
I get from ebay a inverter tester (blue ones) and with the inverter tester I was capable for test the lamps and was ok.

I try with another screens and the backlight was ok (with the inverter from ebay)
On the original screen I have a visual video when I use a home lamp.

External Monitor show everything good.

Questions?
1. My lcd screen is compatible with this inverter? How can I know?
2. My Lvds cable can be bad?
3. Gpu provide the video to screen and the external monitor too? or Northbr...

if you did try with another screen and saw that it light up then the screen its the problem.
dell its know for its used that goes bad(lamps)

i swap this weekend 2 for me ^^
i had one with red tone from a dell ( old lamps) and one with no backlight(faulty lamps)
i have 0.5Mx0.5m of broken screens just for this type of job.
find a broken screen and swap the lamps

New CCFL tubes are approx. £1.50 online anyway in my experience. Never been worth using an old one for me.

it depends ! if its bright white its ok.
when you open and see a dark tone near the end yeee it was use well if its only a little .
it will be just fine for a job like this
