It depends if its RT8206 A or B.
I almost bet the burn have happen because of mismatch in soldering placement.
You must notice the point marking PIN1 and not the layout of the serigraphy written by the manufacture.
If you notice the ISL don't have the text written in the same direction that RT.Comment

Beside the pinout comparison and general specs you must check the LDO current.
A compatible IC may be able to boot up the motherboard but might shutdown when connected to the peripherals.
For example if a board was build with a 100mA LDO IC and you replace it with a 70mA LDO IC it might boot up, but when you connect the HDD it might shutdown.Comment

i got a mcp67mv-a2 chipset that i have to order , but fuck 70 bucks for a new 2010 rev ? .--- i cheked that there is a possible compatibility with the mcp67MD-A2 ..

MCP67MV-A2 has the GPU core in it, MCP67MD-A2 does not. So MCP67MD will only replace MCP67MV if there is a separate GPU on the board.A working TV? How boring!Originally posted by PeteS in CAComment

Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.
So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off.
