    Beside the pinout comparison and general specs you must check the LDO current.
    A compatible IC may be able to boot up the motherboard but might shutdown when connected to the peripherals.
    For example if a board was build with a 100mA LDO IC and you replace it with a 70mA LDO IC it might boot up, but when you connect the HDD it might shutdown.

    It depends if its RT8206 A or B.
    I almost bet the burn have happen because of mismatch in soldering placement.
    You must notice the point marking PIN1 and not the layout of the serigraphy written by the manufacture.
    If you notice the ISL don't have the text written in the same direction that RT....

    Hi, Don't know if you already fix that issue.
    I'm working on a case like yours but started because a liquid damage.
    I first check all internal PSUs and almost all were shut down. The only thing that the laptop do is charge the battery and light the blue LED when the D/C is plugged and then holds the orange LED and shuts down keeping charging the battery. Not even the FAN start.
    With only the battery plugged, the same except the orange blinks 7 times (I suppose its an error code or just the battery "saying"...
