Dell E5500 - works only on battery

So I managed to grab this one for £34, success Not with me at present but will be in my hands soon.

Schematic:

First time I've ever dealt with this kind of problem so bear with me. Doesn't help that the schematic is the most crammed horrible to read thing I've ever seen lol.

It boots and runs perfectly on battery. But absolutely no response from AC.

I'm guessing I need to start on page 42 with the BQ24275 IC. What voltage should ACOK read?

I'm also guessing I need to trace ACOK back, starting with the SI4835 chip, and work my way outwords?

see when you plug in the adapter the 19v comes to all the boards capacitors and mosfets that should get the voltage. I did not check the schematic but if it uses the adaptor with middle pin, trace the pin, put the pin to 19v (short) maybe the signal is interrupted to the kbc, there should also be a circuit for adaptor and battery select, probably the ic is damaged, you can also try and short it to give the 3.3v to the ouput, then it should come on.

Problem is the jack is on a daughterboard so not in the schematic anywhere!

Though on the other side of the coin, if the problem's on the daughterboard, I can just replace it!

We'll see when it gets here.
