i had this hp with the following problem:
at first when I plug the ac adapter , the led of the input power will be on for 2-3 sec then goes off, i press the power button but no activity, i took the parts of the laptop apart , also changed bios with no power still, i reinsert the old bios tried again , the laptop works good but with no information "pn, sn etc...." on the bios. i used nbdmifit and entered evey thing and made a bios update from f21 to f23 th latest one and boot it again, it booted up but with no sound card at all....
but the worst thing is when i shutdown the laptop and try to boot again it will hang , so sometimes boots up but most of cases it will not and hang up....i tried new ram hdd with no succes.... i forgot to mention tha ram will be very hot even when i change it. but when i enter dos it will work forever with no hang
