i would update the bios first, and load defaults. Then if it doesnt solve the problem reflow southbridge.

That don't even make sense with a post-1994 PC! It should have assigned different addresses on its own. (Unless it's a desktop unit with a PCI disk interface card inserted without disabling the onboard disk controller.)

Conflicts were what folks with PCs in the ISA slot era commonly had.

you need to flash the bios chip with a device......first take it out from motherboard

You Mean I remove The Bios In Mobo(MotherBoard). Then How to Flash The ROM BIOS? Where I Flash It? In Other MOBO?

you remove the BIOS chip from the board and use a bios programmer (see this link for example - Willem Programmer) to flash bios file that is compatible with your mobo.

upgrading windows7 to windows10 on an old laptop toshiba satellite m40 331 allways in error
                            by jean luc ferre
                            Hello,
on this old laptop toshiba satellite m40 331 i am trying (but failing) to upgrade frow w7 to w10 and allways i have the error : 0xc1900101 - 0c20017. The upgrading process stops with the pc blocked with the logo screen w10 on the display; then there is no activity on the disk hdd or ssd.
it's also impossible to boot from a dvd iso bootable, the device equally blocks on the w10 logo screen...
i verified the informations in the device manager and it seems there are no problems...
i wonder if it's not an issue about the bios (which is very old) or an interface problem...

RT809H - direct read Toshiba eMMC timeout error
                            by CornholioGSM
                            Hello all,
                            help needed.
I want to made backup of boot and all partitions from emmc desoldered from old phone.
So i have wired emmc directly to RT809h - Dat0, GND,CMD, CLK, VCC, VCCQ - on programmer sw set Smart Identify to EMMC ISP and voltage to 3.3V.
In Settings (N) i have set area to user, boot1,boot2 and EXT and vccq set to 1.8V (tested 3.3V too).

Problem is, that i still get Read Timeout Error

OK - emmc can be dead...so i have tested emmc wires connection to micro SD adapter and then in card reader and emmc was detected.

                            So...

                            Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.
