customer brought this in.looks like its not an isolated incident either!
laptop works normal other than this.

Macbook have always gained my antipathy, that battery explosion increased it

Their cooling vents are a total disaster. They are blocked by the hinge for the lcd. I used one of these before, and the damn thing gave me pre-burn rashes on my legs!

Also, magsafe is a total fire hazard. The magsafe adapters have a wimpy strain relief for the output wire, and the wire eventually shorts out and burns/melts in two.
