    Asus s510ua bios 312 keyboard backlight

    Hi peeps,

    I still haven't got my baklight keyboard working. I tried all, bios updates, new drivers, fresh windows install.. Also the wpt.exe i tried, but nothing works.

    Does anybody has a solution? i also checked all the cables, the whole motherboard, but nothing strange.. All my hotkeys are working exept the FN+F3 & FN+F4 for the backlight not working..

          I tried already with bios, from first till last one.. Also posted in bios section.. Doesn’t helps..

          I think the backlight is just defect..

              You can try with a dosi usb pen and and bt.exe utility

                  Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
                  With original bios no POST, only LED lights
                  With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                  Some issues
                  A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
                  B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                  Things I tried

                  Asus GA402RK keyboard and kb backlight problem

                  Hi. I have a problem with Asus ROG GA402RK. The keyboard suddenly stopped working along with the kb backlight. I replaced the keyboard and the ITE KBC chip and the problem is still the same. I don't see any passive elements that look damaged. Does anyone have an idea?

                  I'm working on a Dell G15 5515 (Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3050 Ti) and recently installed a compatible 4-zone RGB keyboard and controller (for Dell G15 5510/5511/5515 models). While the keyboard functions for typing, the RGB lighting is not detected by Alienware Command Center (AWCC), which displays “No AlienFX devices found.”



                  What I've Tried So Far:
                  • Reseated the cables.
                  • Reinstalled AWCC and AlienFX services.
                  • Attempted BIOS downgrade but no improvement.
                  • Inspected ribbon cables for damage.

                  Hi,

                  I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
                  The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
                  Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

                  Usually on ASUS boards it worked...
