I tried installing the software that came with this new IR6500 but I get a C++ undefined error so I am stuck with non working software.
Tried downloading this software:

I've bought a new Ir 6500 but i have this problem.
I used the same program of my old IR 6000. Bottom 280°, head a slow ramp till 245°. First time using IR6500 the BGA moved at 220°. Second try same. After this it's impossible to move the BGA.
With bottom at 350°, and the head till 250°, the bga don't move.
I've send back the IR 6500, the supplier send me another one....
Same problem. first job was ok, after second job the Bga don't move.

I been playing with a recently acquired IR6500 rework station and watching lots of YouTube tutorials to see how to use it with not much success. I’ve only recently joined badcaps but going through the forums there is a lot of knowledge here, so though it best is if I ask my question here.
1. Firstly is the IR6500 any good for BGA rework or should I be spending my money on a better one.
2. The instruction manual is pretty useless on explaining how to set the PID loops (no information at all!!) both top and bottom heater for th Kp, Ki and Kd...10-14-2022, 12:31 AM -
Hi everyone, I recently purchased a BGA machine (ACHI IR PRO SR, 2400W IR Bottom and 450w IR Upper) but I don't know how to create the processing profiles. I need to desolder a faulty GPU on a laptop.

Hi, so I do console repairs normally, but I have a friend that needs me to reball their 2080ti GPU, does anyone have a profile for the ACHI IR PRO SC they could share. I know i my need to adjust is slightly to match my machine, I don't have any other GPUs to run a test on to build a profile. Thanks inadvance
