Update: As a last ditch effort i pulled the New wifi module off to check diode readings without it. All diode readings now match a known good board. Working on getting another wifi module. Stay tuned.

Resistor was 200k. Still chasing root of problem.

Anyone know the value of this resistor on the 1.8v rail of the edm-020 board? Showed low resistance to ground and want to replace.

A2 chip did not rectify the issue. Replaced all caps under wifi module. Some caps on this line are still reading short to ground. Maybe I have a bad wifi module? Not sure where the 3.3v and 5.0v rail are created. Thanks Sony lol

I am hoping this works per the a2 chip's datasheet. https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...G5yjipLg%3D%3D

Yeah was going down that road. Playing the reference game. Haven't measured the part yet. Will keep you posted.

Ordered the replacement for the A2 chip along with fuses. Went with 0402 3a 24v. That was the lowest i could find. Pretty sure its just the chip and the fuse most lilely blew from when i injected voltage.

The issue Phil has here sounds like my issue now that the southbridge is back to normal. Just watched his vid here tonight. This PS5 may have been trolling me with the Southbridge issue. https://youtu.be/IevHM3oDUvg. Going to follow Phil's troubleshooting and see if we can land this plane haha. Still need the fuse and cap values he replaces here but it's a start.

To be honest i dont know what I need. Just going by what i was told. What would be the best way for me to test. I was also told the fuse is probably a 0402 fast blow. Instead of 0603 slow blow. Frustrating not having a schematic

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?
    by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

    Assuming...

HP Pavilion 15-eh Board DAG7HAMB8F0 - CPU throttling to 0.4GHz (PROCHOT_EXT) and black screen

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

PS5 Disc Not Supported/ Disc Not Recognized Board Num: EDM-020
    by Junior††

    Good Afternoon fellas,

    Issue:
Disc is showing as not supported when a disc is put in.

Here's what I've done, you can skip this if you just wanna know the question:
    - replaced with a disc drive from a donor ps5 (honestly questionable if this is known to work)
    - reflowed the disc drive connector
-reflowed the chip in question (shown on image)
    - I will say this console was very dusty so it's conceivable that it got so hot that it made the chip joints cold and potentially other things on the board

    Question:
    I...

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
    by Hakuu
    Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

    More Details

    TV Model - LG OLED77G1PUA

Got the same exact TCON board from TVPartsToday and replaced it. But didnt transfer the EPPROM data (didnt...

    Sony xbr-65x900c main board issues?
    by jb_Bak
Hey guys great forum glad to have found it. I bought a Sony XBR 65X900C cheaply because it didn't work. No signs of life at all not even a light/led. All I hear is a brief high voltage sound when I throw the power to it.

Didn't see any obvious signs of damage so right away started checking voltages. This is what I see:
Power Board Connector that goes to Main board
    CN6401
    Pin 01 NC
    Pin 02 NC
    Pin 03 "BL_ON": 0V
    Pin 04 "N/C"
    Pin 05 "STBY 3.3V": 3.5V
    Pin 06 "GND": N/C
    Pin 07 "AC_OFF"...
