Good evening, my son's xbox360 has the ring of death.
So far I have disassemble the console with the intention of
repasting as well as a general cleaning. If that doesn't work then I will reflow the gpu.
This is where I want to get a better understanding of how the board works

check the video cable first,
it will "ring" if it doesnt detect the cable.

Oh corrupt. What do you mean with that the rarfile? Or the boardview itself! I can open it online with next boardviewer. Try it with anothe program like flexboard he has also free version.
