I've got an Xbox One S PSU opened up. I'm not getting 12vdc output as I do with my test unit. I'm sure this board must have a fuse but I don't see it as everything on the board is poorly labeled.

post a picture - i dont think there is only one type
as for a fuse, look for a small box like a polyester capacitor but brown -

stupid site makes the pictures SMALLER when i click on them!
the green part is a resistor,
the fuse is gray and in the corner where the connector is soldered.
you can see one of the wires connects directly to one endComment

Gosh, what an AWFUL picture. I'm confused and will take another, clear pic, under my scope so you can point out the fuse. I do see something in that corner, but it doesn't look soldered directly. It looks like it could possible be soldered to the same trace.Comment

I was just about to post another pic - but of the opposite side. OK, so that's a fuse for the AC side, I wasn't thinking like that. My mind is always in motherboard diagnostic mode. and this is the first time I've ever dabbled with PSU's. Now I get it - thanks!

If anyone knows common faults of this unit, I'm all ears. The fuse is good. I'm about a 5-6 on motherboard diagnostics but know nothing about PSU diagnostics. if the fuse is good there are 2 common psu problems - not specific to this one.
first - shorted output diode.
so meter between the 12v and ground contacts
second - but i dont thing its old enough, although it is in a sealed box, the small startup capacitor that gets the chip running.
it's going to be an electrolytic connected to the chip with a value between 10uf and 47uf usually.
if it fails the psu cant startComment

You're awesome! the 12V rail is shorted to ground. Using voltage injection I can see two components heating up. In this picture, that resistor is the first to boil off but right after, that component marked K401 boils off, so I'm imagining it's the K401? I am in search of a schematic or boardview for Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 14ALC7.
No power and no charging LED with AC Adapter connected. AC Adapter is functioning at 19V, and also tried another Lenovo AC Adapter -- no charging LED still.
There is an active 19V from the USB-C port to the motherboard with AC Adapter connected, so the port is also fine. I am assuming there is a short on one of the power rails, but don't know where to start looking.
Any insight, schematic or boardview would be greatly appreciated.

I have this motherboard, but I can't find the schematic or the boardview.
The problem is that on the chip marked where 3V should be, there are 5 volts, which indicates that the two are connected.
So the computer doesn't turn on, and the 3V disappears after a few seconds.
The original problem was that when I turned off the computer, the fan stayed on and saw that it was bad since it was directly in the 5V area.
The new problem arose after removing the bad chip.
