Its a bios update. Merge it with your bios backup using a hex editor, clean the ME firmware, copy the DMI info from the bios backup and the bios might be ok after all that work.

put back the i3 CPU, update the bios to the latest version and after changing to i5, see what happens..

In general ME 8, updated VGA ROM and Ivy Bridge microcodes are required for a BIOS to support Ivy Bridge CPUs. H67H2-AD does not seem to have a BIOS with that. H61H2-AD does so it might be possible to make a modded BIOS.

I have already put back the I3, however I want to know if the bios made by you does have an updated CPU list, and it's worth the struggle of bios update!
Due to the fact that I am not comfortable doing it the old fashion way by booting from an usb stick and writing the commands, I have that only once in my life in like 2006 ...

Best regards, check your PM plz

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

Who has a MSI Z590 PRO WIFI - Need BIOS dump ?
                                by DynaxSC
                                Hi,

I need a BIOS dump for MSI Z590 PRO WIFI from a real physical board, along with MAC address and serial no.

It must be a dump from a physical board, as it contains personalized data eg. MAC Address, UUID, Serial no.

I have a board which has lost the BIOS contents, I have the MAC and serial to this board, and need to insert it into the another BIOS image. To do it, I need to have a real image from a real board, as the images from the MSI site are without this data. The only way to find where MAC/UUID/Serial is located in the BIOS is to have a bios...

                                Hi everyone,

I'm trying to recover a Fujitsu Lifebook E5513 (most likely 2023 model) that was bricked during a BIOS update. The update was interrupted (probably due to power loss), and now the laptop is stuck in a boot loop showing "PBB rollback" / "SBB rollback" messages.
BIOS access (F2) and Boot Menu (F12) are no longer possible – the system instantly reboots after the rollback messages.

I extracted the official BIOS update package from Fujitsu (contains FJNB2FD.CAP, ~18.7 MB) and tried tools like UEFIExtract, but it seems to only contain...

[REQUEST] 2MB BIOS Dump for Lenovo NM-E471 Rev 2.0 (Winbond 25Q16JWSIQ Chip)
                                by hyperwood
                                Hi everyone,

                                I’m looking for a 2 MB BIOS dump for a Lenovo IdeaPad 5 16ARH7H / Legion 5 with mainboard NM-E471 Rev. 2.0.

The BIOS chip is a Winbond W25Q16FW (1.8V, 2MB) and it's completely unresponsive / bricked. I tried recovery via USB but no success. Now I want to reflash it externally using a CH341A programmer.

I already found 32MB dumps (e.g. from Vinafix and Badcaps), but they are too large for the chip – and the last 2MB in those files are just FF FF FF....

                                ✅ What I need:
                                • A working 2MB BIOS dump
                                • Matching NM-E471 Rev. 2.0, e.g. JY575
                                ...
