Please, anyone can help me with a 400 G6 Desktop Mini PC? The BIOS got corrupted during updates (5long+2short beeps, EC firmware is invalid)
i'm a newbe in such things.. I read the chip and saved the BIN with CH341A (NeoProgrammer 2.1) and it seems to be corrupted.
Does anyone can fix it?
Serial: 8CC1345315

Thanks for the help!

here are the steps that worked for me:
1- CH341A with SOP8 adapter for the 25series chips(bought on amazon) & SOP16 clip (bought on amazon). Check if the jumper on the CH341A is in "programmer mode" (jumper betweeen pin1-2)
2 - Check the pinout of the SOP16 clip with a multimeter to find out the PIN no 1 (set the multimeter in ohm measure or continuity)
3- Connect the SOP16 clip to the SOP8 adapter (i used dupont wires) to the corresponding pin:
8 PIN CH341 programmer -> 16 PIN SOP Testing Clip
1 -> 7 (CS)
2 -> 8 (MISO)
3 -> 9 (WP)
4 -> 10 (VSS)
5 -> 15 (MOSI)
6 -> 16 (SCK)
7 -> 1 (HOLD)
8 -> 2 (VCC)
Connect the SOP8 adapter to the CH341A. The 25 series pins are the 8's closest to the USB connector:
4 - Download from here https://github.com/YTEC-info/CH341A-Softwares/tree/main Neoprogrammer 2.1 (drivers and software)
5- Disconnect the power from the 400G6 PC. Connect the SOP16 clip to the GigaDevice chip on the motherboard (matching PIN no1 of the chip to the PIN no1 SOP16 clip. You can find out the PIN no1 of the chip checking the small cirle on the upper surface on it). I've tried with and without the CMOS battery connected with no difference.
6 - Open Neoprogrammer 2.1, check if the CH341A is selected in the "Hardware" menu. Click "Detect chip" (the button with the "?" icon) . If you got the IC not responding message, check the SOP116 clip positioning. The positioning of the clip is a little bit tricky... you have to try and retry (poistioning-detect clip and repeat)
7 - When Neoprogrammer find out the chip, after you click detect button, a yellow popup message appears with chip info's (GIGADEVICE GD25Q256....)
8 - Erase the CHIP (button with X icon). The led on the 400G6 start blinking 5 red- 7 White
9 - Open the BIN file and click the program button (the one with the blue arrwow icon) with this options: Write - Verify
10 - Disconnect the SOP16 clip
If you got error, try to reset CMOS following the HP procedure (disconnect all the power sources, disconnect the CMOS battery, press the power button multiple times and/or press for 25s the CMOSSW50 button on the motherboard)
If you got error again, try to repeat the erase-write process...
Hope this can help you!! Let me know if you got success
