HP Probook x360 435 G7 Endpoint Security Controller
Hello
i need help
I have a laptop HP Probook x360 435 G7 with bios password
I succed to remove the password with the RC toll and right now i have this mesage on the scren "HP Endpoint Security Controller Problem " "Please contact the HP.Inc to have the unit serviced".
I have read the both bios chips and i have posted a picture with the chips pozition.
Can anybody help me with intruction or look on the dump if something is wrong ?
Thanks in advance!!
I just explain how I resolved.
Pick up a EC .bin from internet, and editing the hex file. Just combined the original dump from the EC chip ,whith the downloaded . bin. And the result is just what I want. A working laptop whit the original SN/PN , feature byte and so on.
For this reason I suggest to close the thread!
It was just a suggestion, nothing else.
Thanks for understanding....
Hello
i have the dump .
It's i5 , the i7 was the original motherboard. The replacement it's i5.
Sorry for the mistake.
Hope you can help me to open the MPM.
Thanks!!...
Hello
I replace a motherboard with intel i5 gen7 with a replacement motherboard with intel i7 gen7 processor.
The replacement motherboard was brand new from HP and the bios has MPM open to write all specifications.
Unfortunately I forget to write something I don't know what, because now the tactile keyboard don't show anymore on the screen, when the bios start.
Sadly I close the MPM configurations whitout knowing this issue. The laptop is ok ,but the tactile keyboard doesn't show anymore including in Windows.
I have the original bios dump from the i5 motherboard....
Hello
Thanks for the help
Unfortunately it doesn't work. The bios recovery menu keeps appearing and asking me for the password, but this time with the fan at maximum speed.
I have another latitude 7490, I'm going to make a copy of the bios and flash this version, then I'll change the service tag and the serial.
Thanks to all for the help....
