    3.2V on Northbrigde ?

    Guys,

I got 3.2V on Northbridge, it's Intel JG82865G SL99Y, could be this northbridge is faulty ?
Normally I got 1.8V for it ...and when I checked with my thermocouple it reached nearly 100 degree with heatsink...

    Any experiences ?

        PHILIPS 42PFL7008k/12 HARDWARE UPGRADE(REQUIRED HARDWARE/EXPERIENCES)!!
        by rakonja
Hello everyone! I am the owner of a Philips 42PFL7008k/12 TV! It served me well all the years. Sometimes it used to get "stuck", after which I used to disconnect it from the voltage, hold the power button on the device for about 30 seconds, and after turning it on again, it worked like new!Only once it threw something like no software! Now it happened that it won't turn on anymore, the red LED blinks twice!Do you have any suggestions? They are probably not cost effective to repair, but I am sorry to get rid of it, it has served me well and looks like new!The only downside is the slow...

        Bad Experiences with repairs
        by dcapper
So who's had bad experiences with tv repairs? I was given a nice LG 50" Smart TV with burnt out led's and I replaced them all. Put it back together and thought I had the screen in the right position. Clicked the case on and crack. Ugh. Garbage now.

        lc-90le657u - any experiences?
        by itelite
        I am working on a Sharp lc-90le657u at a customer's home.

It would occasionally click the relay, turn on the backlight for a fraction of a second, turn off, click relay off. More often than not it will do nothing at all.

On the first trip i replace the power supply, on the second i replaced the main board. Today i spent about an hour testing various things.

Tested all LED + - wires. all exactly 196v with backlight tester, and could see each strip light up. With ameter in series the current was identical on every strip.

        Primary side voltages...

So if you have been following my urine odor saga with my new PC, I believe I finally found out what is happening, my Northbridge heatsink is getting quite toasty, and other people online with my motherboard say the VRM's get hot as well. That may be the source of the odor I am smelling.

        Current setup
The case has 3 fan openings, a 120mm front, a 120mm side, and a 92mm rear. Currently the only fan installed is the 120mm front. The CPU cooler has a side mounted 92mm fan on it (and that cooler is very cool, CPU temps are great). The only exhaust is from the PSU
