JGINYUE B85i-PLUS motherboard no signs of life

I bought this chinese ITX motherboard around a year ago. It was on a secondary machine barely used. I bought it mainly because it has M2 SSD slot and mini PCIe for wifi.
One day I pushed the power button and there was no reaction. No beeps, no fan spin, nothing.
Removed power from the PSU, waited a few minutes, plugged it back and it powered up again fine.
A week after, same thing but this time I could only make it power after plugging and unplugging everything several times (RAM, ATX connector, GPU, etc).

Now, I cannot make it power no matter what I do.
I can't see anything burned and for sure there are no broken traces anywhere. Sometimes people scratch the pcb in the case mounting stands, but here it's not the case.

Any idea of what to check?

if it does not even start up then it should be the starting circuit issue. you can check whether the power switch got 3.3v or not...
not for begineers..this board no board view. so forget about easily trouble shoot

The 3.3V are there. The PSU is fine. It's now being used in another machine.
Could it be some crystal oscillator? I would replace them, but I cannot identify anything in the round bottom one.
Maybe I should also try to clear the ME region of the bios.

Legion Y540 17irh motherboard issue ( need help to know how to diagnose my motherboard)
          by Docus
          Hi everyone 😀,

I'm here today to ask for help with repairing the motherboard of a Lenovo Legion Y540 17IRH.

To give you some context, I'm passionate about computer repair so much so that I've invested in a lot of tools and started practicing on dead and old hardware. I've been learning how to solder and desolder components, mostly focusing on phone repairs.

Recently, I bought a broken Lenovo Legion Y540 17IRH for just €150, and there are two main reasons why I made this purchase:
          1. I already own the exact same model, but its plastic chassis is badly damaged.

          Programming KBC IT8987VG ASUS TUF FX506L RT809F+PEB
          by araxnido
Dear friends, I want to share my experience repairing an ASUS TUF FX506L gaming laptop motherboard: DABKXDMB8E0_F_BKXD. Boardview and schematic are available, as well as the BIOS and ITE ROM.

When the customer brought in this laptop, it was initially dead; it showed no signs of booting for any reason. After hours of measurements, checking each stage, MOSFET, and seeing if there was a short circuit in any capacitor, I discovered a strange 0.7V leakage voltage on the 3V_S5 rail, particularly on the PL9 coil, with the board not powered on. There were 3V_LDO and 5V_LDO voltages, which...

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
          by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

Trying to Save - Samsung 65" The Frame (QN65LS03B) with no signs of life (One Connect Box)
          by KYBOSH
I picked this one up today.
Previous owner says no signs of life.
TV looks immaculate and its a 2022 model year so I thought maybe the one connect cable was damaged.
Got it home and put it on the Kill-A-Watt power meter and it was completely dead.

The TV model is QN65LS03BAFXZA - version: CB06
          The One Connect Box BN44-01066D / BN96-54788Q / BN39-02470A.

I immediately remembered EazyBone's Samsung The Frame TV no power....One Connect thread and am preparing myself to tear the One Connect open and hunt for dead parts.

          Will keep you all...

Requesting assistance with 486 motherboard repair
          by Byte_76
I have a seemingly rare 486 motherboard which shows no signs of life.

The Motherboard is marked with the labels B887 / 8 / 9 AI, which seems to be a Mecer branded board.

With an AT power supply hooked up, the power supply turns on but the board does not post, there is no beep and there is nothing displayed on the post analyser card, whether it's plugged into a PCI slot or an ISA slot.

I found a thread on Vogons of someone else who had the same board in working condition.

What I've tried so far: (In each case, the symptoms remain unchanged as...
