Hi,
So i got above mentioned laptop. Which shows only some little signs of life.
When i turn it on, 3 buttons lit up and stays like that forever (ESC, Caps Lock and Num Lock), they dont blink, they are just lit all the time. Fan does not spin, and there isnt any heat from CPU.
What ive already done:
-Flashed both bios chips 16 and 8 mb.
-Tried adding another stick of ram
-Check if backlight is faulty.
So any ideas?

thanks, ok so i found both bios chips near cpu, flashed both 16 and 8mb and no luck.
what happens is, same as before. when i turn laptop on. Nothing, 3 buttons lit up ESC, Caps lock and Num lock, and they stay like that forever, no blinking nothing, no fan, no heat from cpu.
Since it appears not to be a bios error, could that firmware chip be corrupted somehow? or laptop is simply dead(cpu)... -

ok so here is another one:
from my info this one is to small to be a bios chip, but i may be wrong. just to be clear we are talking about 15 G2 ITL. I dont see any other chips unless they are hidden under tape or something.
