Are you tethering to a phone? or a wireless hotspot? or what?

Dunno what it's like in the US, but over here they've got ridiculous traffic/bandwidth limits on 3G/4G connections and will throttle your speed if you go over.
The SIM card I've got in my netbook (prepaid) has limits of 1GB/day and 5GB/month total.
If you reach any of these limits, they'll throttle you from 7.2MBit/s to 64KBit/s (just a hair faster than dialup) for the rest of the month.
The same thing might have happened here..!?

maybe i know downunder they did and i have had it on more than one comp,3 windows boxes xp, 7, vista all the same result, then OSx86 no help
it is a little usb modem thing that is slow on linux so i cant blame windows and it was slow on OSx86

Hi forum.
I'm working on a macbook pro, model a1708, that is running extremely slow.
Everything on it seams to work just fine, it just works extremely slow; painfully slow; especially running macos (windows and linux actually run OKish on it, slow, but usable).
One other symptom of the problem with the machine is that the fan is always running at full speed.
This machine has been worked on by someone else previously; they tried to repair it, but with no success. The motherboard does have sings of being worked on, but it all looks good/OK; like... -
Hi to everyone.
I never seen something like this. I have HP Notebook 15-dy1731ms motherboard: DA0P5DMB8CO REV C that is very very slow. I tried all the basic, updating the bios, replacing ssd, replacing ram, soldering all coils, reflow CPU power supply but the laptop is still very very slow. Never seen a motherboard that is slow. CPU power suppliers 1.8 volts, the cpu barely getting hot.
What left for me to do is reflow the CPU and try manually programing the bios chip with programer.
Anyone have any idea what it can be? -

i found shorted mosfet on smbus battery i remove it the laptop turn on with a battery but not charging
the big problem is the laptop is very slow
cpu works with low speed almost 0.7ghz

hi all, I have a problem with my macbook pro 15 inch, late 2011 with SSD, AMD Radeon HD 6770M dedicated video card and Intel HD 3000 integrated card.
I use the computer occasionally at home and a few weeks ago I noticed that the battery was charging very slowly, I changed the power supply with a new original one and the problem remains. I also changed the battery to a compatible one and the problem persists. Now for a few days I have also noticed that the computer after a few minutes from starting it jerks and becomes very slow.
