    iiyama ProLite E2407HDSV

    Dear friends,
I have this monitor, iiyama ProLite E2407HDSV
It came on but nothing on the screen, I have checked all the caps on the both inverter and psu board and the entire caps look ok no bulging or leaking as far as I can see.

Thanks for the excellent pictures. They make it much easier to help.

Red circles in lower left: With monitor plugged in, CAREFULLY!! measure the DC voltage between the two points. Should be about 1.4 times your AC line voltage.

Yellow circle in upper left. Ground point for following tests. Measure the DC voltage on the points circled in blue. Also note their is one more half way across the board to the right.

Thank you Plain Bill, I am back to ground zero, before I could do the testing the fuse has blown, I replace it and gone again so by the troubleshooting I found that the power mosfet 2764I (Q801) has shorts between all the legs, I have google it but I did not find it. Please is there an equivalent part to use.

It's an AP2764I-A The datasheet is available, and the parts are available here.

              I have no idea.
<Rant mode ON> I am a human being. I do not carry the inventory records of every distributor in my head, nor am I a mind reader. Heck, I don't even know where in the world you are! <Rant mode OFF>

I took the part number you gave, figured that it was a partial number, and was able to determine the full part number. Googleing the full part number found a company that claimed to have some in stock. It is up to you to determine if they will sell in acceptable quantities and what other items they have in inventory.

Neither the power FET nor the bridge rectifier are unusual components. With the datasheet you should be able to locate a suitable replacement. No, I can't help you with that, I don't know which parameters are critical.

Need help replacing led strip on Iiyama Prolite XUB2390HS monitor
                  by mikey5791
                  Hi,
Got this working ips led monitor by the brand of
Iiyama Prolite XUB2390HS presumably a 23 inch type given to me with suspected bad led backlight. To test it, i unplugged the bad flat ribbon type connector and plugged it a good flat ribbon led connector scrapped from a HP Pavillion 27cw (led strip with 60 led). Good news is the HP led strip lights up but not fully, in between there are about 15 unlit leds.(as picture attached shows).

Fyi, i had not opened and removed the old bad led strip. My question is whether is it possible to cut some of the extra leds(say...

HannStar Hanns-G HC194d LCD monitor repair

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...

HP 27es - LED monitor - Monitor Flashing On - Off

                  Hi Everyone

Lately I am experiencing the deja-vu incident on one of the led monitor like this.
                  https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...lashing-on-off

The monitor is HP 27es LED Monitor

The monitor will randomly blackout and display no signal and will recover again.
Sometimes need to power and off again to restore the display but...

LG 23MP55HQ LED Monitor turns off after a few seconds or flickers.
                  by Rick_1234
                  Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.

Wise Wing F199 19'' LCD monitor - recapped
                  by momaka
Looking through my repair pictures and notes, it's been a long time since I posted anything in the LCD monitors section. So here goes that.

I'm dedicating this thread to one of the very first LCD monitors I repaired (if not the first one), which was more than 10 years ago now. The monitor is a Wise Wing, model F199. It's a 19” CFL-backlit LCD. I got it for free off of Craigslist in 2009 from a guy, who said he bought it for cheap from Wallmart and the monitor worked only for a little less than 2 years before quitting.

When I saw the Craigslist post, I wasn't...
