There's always Ebay. And speaking of Ebay, ccflwarehouse operates a store under the name Plazmo_Industries, which in some cases sells items for a lower price. Selection is not as great as their website.

Not necessarily, that is a known failure mode of some monitors. Some models of Samsung, as one example.

I can think of 3 possibilities, A Problem with the 5 volt rail, A LDO voltage regulator failing or a defective panel. Start with checking to see if you're loosing the 5 volts at the connector from the power supply to the logic board when the panel is hooked up.

I don't think it is the 5v as i can see image when back light turns off.

When you diagnose something, unless you're extremely lucky you have to know what's good before you find the bad part.
From my short time looking at monitors, the 3 things I mentioned have caused the symptoms you describe.
I am sure there can be more.
I will say I do not remember if an image was visible before I disconnected the flat ribbon cable, when the backlights only worked with the flat cable from the logic board to the Panel disconnected.
When the ribbon is disconnected from the panel it's removing one load from the system, so if there is a marginal voltage it might not be as critical.
I would say if you're able to see an image on the panel with a bright light the panel is OK
This not meant as a mean are sarcastic response, but there are things that can be verified fairly easily with a voltmeter.
The 5 volts should be easy to check, and in my opinion we have had enough problems with LDO regulators they should be ruled out also. If we are lucky the voltage regulators will have a number stamped on them, to identify the voltage we would expect to see.
A good picture of the logic board would really be helpful.

check if you have not already done by the two MOSFET 4 +4 pin. But you have to desolder them! be careful.

The most common type is the xx1117-vv family. A common number might be AS1117-33. AS is an abbreviation of the manufacturer and the 33 indicates it is a 3.3V regulator.

If you look at the regulator as if it were standing on it's three legs, the pin to the left is Gnd/Reference, the middle pin is the output voltage, and the pin on the right is the input voltage. Choose a local ground point, and measure the voltage on each of the three pins.

Pictures of the board, both top and bottom side? Usually the 2200 will be right after the rectifier then the 1000 will be after the filter choke.

                                            Hi All,
I obtained a schematic diagram for the above mixer but I am wondering if a block diagram exists as I am trying to fix a problem in the protection circuit which I find a little confusing using a circuit diagram only. In the good old days the workshop manuals always had a block diagram with a circuit discription. Very useful for fault finding.
The protection light is perminently on. The right sode has a -80DC on the feed to the speaker, hence the protection led on. I have removed all the O/P transistors which checked out OK. I tested all other transistors in circuit which seem...

I'm looking for the wiring diagram for led monitor model DHI-LM19-L200

hello everyone, I'm looking for the wiring diagram of this led monitor.
the model is DHI-LM19-L200, but I think that any other diagram of a DAHUA monitor could be equivalent.
I really hope that among you someone can help me to repair this monitor, the screen is black, it doesn't seem like a backlight problem.
I see the presence of 12 volts, 5 volts, but without a diagram the repair is very difficult.
thanks to those who will answer

Hi it looks like everything works don't know where to test except the 390v in the 2 capacitor in the hot side of the power supply and the weird 180v in the diodes in the cold side that should be discharged it is writin on the circuit no more you can read what is written on the circuit quite srrange color mixiing yellow and white
                                            anyhow i couldn't t read anything else
the backlight is on strong and the screen does not get dark or very dark but no pictures
the mainborad feels a bit hott on the black part i test it to 52 degree's against 34 to 40 on the rest of it
                                            ...

LG 55UH6150- trouble powering up, then half lit screen (pictures!)

The 55" LG has been in the basement for a few months without being used. Turned it on yesterday, set came on as it should and showed a complete screen for about 5 seconds (was on a broadcast channel but no antenna was connected), then the screen went mostly dark with about 1/3 of the screen on the right lighting up with brighter lines in that lit part (sorry, no pictures of that). Power LED was cycling too, preventing the TV from fully powering up.
Pulled the back off, all boards looked OK. Pulled the LED connector, turned the set on to see if it would power up but I don't belive it...

                                            Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on a mid-70s Sharp Electronic Digital Clock Radio, Model FY-70CH. I found the service manual online, printed it out, and have been studying it for a while. My main reasons for tackling this are: (1) I want to learn electronics and figured I'd start with something I had on hand, and (2) I want to fix its issues. Right now, the radio sounds awful, has about 5V DC at the speaker terminals, and the alarm time setting doesn't work. But I'm not asking how to fix these problems.

Instead, here's what's been bugging me so far:
                                            The schematic...
