Bad CCFL replacement - advice required.
Hello everyone,
I have a monitor that has a 2 second to black issue. I managed to trace the fault to what i suspect to be a bad CCFL lamp.
While i do still get 2 second to black issues without the lamp, the sense CCT has a sense for the open lamp and i assume that i will experience this until a new lamp is installed.
I do have the following concern about the CCFL replacement and i hope a kind soul will enlighten me to an answer:
1. Start up and opperating voltage:
As the 2 sec to black fault is so fast its near to impossible to match my opperating voltage for my lamp. My question for this is, if i were to replace the lamp with a lamp that requires a higher start up voltage and utilizes a higher opperating voltage will the tranaformer be able to supply this?
For now these are my major concerns as the faulty lamp is completely burnt out, hopefully someone with greater experience can shed some light on the situation.
