    LCD monitor model codes-> Does a model code that ends with "b" mean made by BenQ?

    I have been noticing a trend that LCD monitors' model codes often end with "b", even other brands!
    ASRock B550 PG Velocita

    Ryzen 9 "Vermeer" 5900X

    32 GB G.Skill RipJaws V F4-3200C16D-32GVR

    Arc A770 16 GB

      My observation is that B often means Black, and S meaning Silver.

          Not always true. I have two Samsung units, one 171P which is Silver, and the other one is a 173S which is black. The 730B & 172N are Samsungs in color black but only the 730 has the B.
          As you said, often, but every manufacturer name as they wish. An example are the Dell 171FPb... Free of Plumbum, which translates as Lead (Pb) free : it has the B but not for the above noted reason.

              P - Platinum
              S - Slate, Silver
              B - Black, Beige
              N - Night, Negro, Nero

              I think they just put the letter there to make people wonder what it means.

                      On samsung, B suffix is usually have sync on green support.
