Samsung 223BW 2 sec to black.

Hello i have litle or no knowlege in electronics...

I usualy change a fuse or a capacitor if it works ok if not it goes into parts...

So i need some help with this one i realy like retro design and would like to put it on the table...

So as i was reading guide up there and postS regarding this model...

Symptoms: 2 sec to black ==> logic board displays picture (2 sec)

    Powerboard: IP-43130A

    I came to conclusion that...

    1. CCFL is working (tried with another display)

    2. changed all 25V caps with 25/1000 standard

    3. i changed lower 50/22 with 50/470 didnt change uper 50v cause im still searching through junk.

    4. Logic board working "like dr. House says its never Lupus"

    5. No visible holes, burns or overheating.

    6. Inverter transformer is giving some resistance in circuit (probably OK)

    7. also tried to change 450/100

So i would like someone to help me with a problem.

    I need help to check:

    1. diodes

    2. voltages

    3. mosfets that drive ccfl

    4. and maybe something that i dont know even exists...

    Thx guys!

"6. Inverter transformer is giving some resistance in circuit (probably OK)"
What resistance do you get on the high voltage windings side?

"1. CCFL is working (tried with another display)" using another inverter board to drive all the lamps and they stay on for a long time?

Nope i made a sandwitch and tried combos out of 8 lamps on this inverter....

      Thanks for the reply.

Re: Samsung 223BW 2 sec to black.

Picture is not really clear enough - you have even cut off the connector you need to do the voltage tests on and we need to see the back of the board.

          2. changed all 25V caps with 25/1000 standard

Are you saying you replaced ALL 25volt caps with 1000uf capacitors whatever the
          capacitance of the originals???

          3. i changed lower 50/22 with 50/470

If this is a startup cap you should use the same uf - replace 50/22 with 50/22
          or if stuck 50/47 maximum.

There are tests for all the components you mention in the guide

25v caps should work i used duble capacitance on other powerboards for monitors and they all work if they didnt have other faults like this one. Its all in the 20%-30% tolerance.

For that 50v i will try to change it but thats not the problem i am faceing. (hope it is but) Will get back on that...

Will get pictures up tomorrow cause my xperia has a sh..y camera.

I hate XPERIA mobile not even smart. the primary winding will show a low resistance 1.3ohm, secondary will a resistance around 970ohm. in the 2kohm range.
