    AOC 919VA blinking power LED

The LED keeps going on and off acompanied by a audiable click in the background. Could it be that the GBU408 is bad or should I look elsewhere?

The caps are Elite (known to be bad quality) but they're not bulging.

Bad cap can look normal, try heating up start up cap (the small cap in the primary (deadly side) C908 with hair dryer to see if the output voltage will become steady. Also check the two rectifier diodes on the heat sinks in the secondary side for shorts or low leakage resistance.

Hi, to me it seems there may be a short or loss in a component in the user boards, detach the video board and try the IPS board itself, test its outputs, if voltages are ok, attach video bd but not panel, try and see if monitor stays on, if all tests fail check in diode mode the big diodes on IPS bd, secondary side, if them are good unsolder the more up inductor in photo, near 470 ohm pink resistor, and retest with the rest hooked up.
