Guide me through repairing a Dell p2210f LCD ccfl backlight monitor

I bought this p2210f dell monitor to fix. Schematic is the same as p2210.
Behaviour is that monitors comes on but then backlight switches off almost instantly. If I look with flashlight I can still find the "No signal message". So definitely a backlight issue. Trying to advance the issue I proved that the protection circuit is switching off the backlight by shorting out C3 and resistor to disable the INL chip then re enable by removing the short.
This is where it gets interesting. When I disassembled the monitor to solder leads on c3 capacitor I noticed the backlight flickered at first but mostly it would stay on. What I had expected was that the backlight would turn off as previous but that didn't happen. So I thought what's different.. What was different was that the data cable from video processing board was disconnected from the LCD.

Sure enough when I put the monitor back together, monitor would come on and backlight switched off in a second. Now I could bring the backlight back on by shorting the leads I soldered on C3 and removing the short thus re-enableing INL chip.
My question is what would cause this strange behavior?

Why would disconnecting data cable would result in different behavior from backlight?

This morning it would mostly want to stay on. Then after a while hissing sound and won't turn on for more than 1 second. Hissing sound seemed close to inverter circuit. What do you say bad inverter circuit or bad lamp? Hissing sound was like adjusting speaker volume where speaker has defective volume potentiometer.

After more testing I've come to the conclusion it is the lamps or at least one that is defective. I've seen it flicker like a bad neon lamp.

So I've decided I will replace them with led lights. Which ones to buy? Please help

                    Greetings everyone.
Please I need help with the above monitor.

Below is the summary of what happened and what I have done:

The monitor started by turning off 2 seconds after it was turned on. It displayed with a backlight when it turned on. However, the standby light remains on after it is turned off on its own, I have to press the power button again to turn it on, but it will go back to standby after 2 seconds.

The backlight driver IC is 0b3350cp.

I applied a 370k SMD resistor on the CMP pin which is pin 6, while the other...

HANNSG Hi221 -- 2 secs to black feat. CCFL flicker & "burn" marks on power board
                    by ttmi100x
                    Greetings everyone,

I have a HANNSG Hi221 monitor that exhibits two seconds to black issues (backlight goes off, display is still on as confirmed by shining a flashlight on it) with some additional oddities...

The monitor failed on me with a standard "2 seconds to black" some time ago prompting me to initially replace most of the electrolytic capacitors (some of them were bulging/leaking).
Things kinda sorta worked for a night, then the problem returned along with some flickering and "buzzing" noises.

                    Upon closer inspection...

Normally, I never post repairs this quick after I do them, because… I am usually very slow. But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though. I picked it up last November from someone on my local Craigslist. It wasn’t very close to where I live, but was close to a family friend that I had to go visit anyways. So after watching the posting on Craigslist for a few weeks and seeing it getting...

AOC U34G3XM, new monitor, black screen with backlight on, possible shortcircuit during dissassembly
                    by turmix
Hello, I'm working on a new deskmod pc project and have a problem with my monitor, an AOC U34G3XM, well, I may have bricked it.

The monitor was dismanteled and the separate parts parts integrated in the desk. the screen panel alone is on the upper part, and main board/video board + power board on the back of the desk (not enough place on the cover to fit it)
At first everything was working smoothly, then I decided to change the connexion between the video board and the screen for a longer one. Still working fine

During another reassembly, I made a mistake, and...

                    Hello everyone,

The monitor has no visible external damage and has not been dropped. Currently, the backlight is on, but no image is displayed. I have replaced the power and HDMI cables, and connected it to my laptop (the graphics card detects the monitor, but no image appears). The service menu is also unresponsive. Could anyone share insights on troubleshooting or repair options for this issue?
