NEWSYNC B27F165 MONITOR HAS NO BACKLIGHT. board no: JY85QS_UPH_LS_R10.3

    Greetings everyone.
Please I need help with the above monitor.

Below is the summary of what happened and what I have done:

The monitor started by turning off 2 seconds after it was turned on. It displayed with a backlight when it turned on. However, the standby light remains on after it is turned off on its own, I have to press the power button again to turn it on, but it will go back to standby after 2 seconds.

The backlight driver IC is 0b3350cp.

I applied a 370k SMD resistor on the CMP pin which is pin 6, while the other end of the resistor was soldered to the ground. (I did this in an effort to remove it from protection mode)

I noticed there was no backlight light as usual but the display remained stable, it doesn't go back to standby mode as it was behaving before.

The 370k resistor was removed, and the display remains but with no backlight.
I checked the driver IC for the vailable voltages but none except for the vin which is 12v.

The backlight voltage remains at 12v.

I set my multimeter in diode mode, the driver IC reads 0.5 on all legs except pin 3 which is the gnd.

The 2 N-channel fets beside the driver IC read 0.4, and 0.5, except the leg connected to ground resistors

Please what do I do next?

attached are the pictures of the monitor and mb

ps: when it displaying for 2 secs. 12v appears at the gate for the 2 seconds but currently, nothing

    please help

    Problem

Fixing a dimming zone TV with LEDs not lighting up. Dimming zone circuit introduces added variable to diagnose LED and/or Dimming Zone Driver board? Some 1/2 rows of LEDs appears to be out in active dimming zone off AND some brightness flickering with active dimming zone high while playing changing video

    Conflicting Spec

Vizio indicate this TV has 10 dimming zones. However, LED strips and Zoned light driver connector suggest 12

AOC U34G3XM, new monitor, black screen with backlight on, possible shortcircuit during dissassembly
    by turmix
Hello, I'm working on a new deskmod pc project and have a problem with my monitor, an AOC U34G3XM, well, I may have bricked it.

The monitor was dismanteled and the separate parts parts integrated in the desk. the screen panel alone is on the upper part, and main board/video board + power board on the back of the desk (not enough place on the cover to fit it)
At first everything was working smoothly, then I decided to change the connexion between the video board and the screen for a longer one. Still working fine

During another reassembly, I made a mistake, and...

Dell monitor PSU vs Dell laptop PSU
    by keepread
    Hi there!
Someone gave me their old monitor, it's Dell S2715ht.
The owner was using it when his PSU began to smell and then to smoke. It literally began to melt. He turned the monitor off, pulled the PSU, and ditched it because it was smelly even after it cooled. So I got the monitor but not the plug.
Now, I tried to bring the monitor back to life, by plugging one of my many Dell laptop PSUs. They are of the same 19.5V, and the wattage of the laptop PSU is higher than that which the monitor is rated for. Visually, the socket on the monitor seems compatible, and the plug plugs...

DIGMA PRO Art M Monitor 5K IPS 60hz only backlight
    by Chiro
    Hello everyone,

The monitor has no visible external damage and has not been dropped. Currently, the backlight is on, but no image is displayed. I have replaced the power and HDMI cables, and connected it to my laptop (the graphics card detects the monitor, but no image appears). The service menu is also unresponsive. Could anyone share insights on troubleshooting or repair options for this issue?

Guide me through repairing a Dell p2210f LCD ccfl backlight monitor
    by DanPoka
I bought this p2210f dell monitor to fix. Schematic is the same as p2210.
Behaviour is that monitors comes on but then backlight switches off almost instantly. If I look with flashlight I can still find the "No signal message". So definitely a backlight issue. Trying to advance the issue I proved that the protection circuit is switching off the backlight by shorting out C3 and resistor to disable the INL chip then re enable by removing the short.
This is where it gets interesting. When I disassembled the monitor to solder leads on c3 capacitor I noticed the backlight flickered...
